Ferah Burgul Adıgüzel

Ferah Burgul Adıgüzel, who completed her undergraduate and graduate studies in Turkish Language and Literature Education, currently continues her work as an Associate Professor at the Department of Turkish Language and Literature Education, Gazi Faculty of Education, Gazi University. Shaping her primary areas of research around literature education, speech education, creative drama, and museum education, Adıgüzel is leading pioneering studies on the development of space-focused and creative drama-based approaches, particularly in literature education.

Adıgüzel has authored numerous articles, conference papers, and book chapters at both the international and national levels on the effective implementation of creative drama as a method in education, and she supports her theoretical knowledge with field projects funded by organizations such as TÜBİTAK, BAP, and VEKAM. In addition to her academic responsibilities, she continues to contribute to the development of creative drama in Turkey by serving on the Board of Directors of the Contemporary Drama Association with a commitment to civil society. She is married and is the mother of Kemal.
