Treasure Island: Digital Traces and an Interdisciplinary Adventure

The “Treasure Island” workshop is designed to allow classroom teachers and student teachers to experience the possibilities offered by creative drama through the exploration of a fictional world and an immersive adventure. This workshop aims to demonstrate how various disciplines included in the curriculum—such as Social Sciences, Mathematics, Visual Arts, and Music—can be transformed into natural and functional tools within a dramatic framework.

The workshop features a holistic structure that integrates various techniques of creative drama. Throughout the process, various methods of creative drama are blended with contemporary communication tools. Participants use their cell phones as active tools for exploration. By bringing together diverse perspectives, this gathering aims to highlight the transformative and liberating potential of creative drama within educational and cultural life by offering an experience-focused, multidimensional space for discussion and sharing.
