About the Workshop
In this workshop, Dorothy Heathcote’s Mantle of the Expert approach— which transforms participants from passive listeners into “experts” who assume responsibility for knowledge and action — will be employed.
In the workshop, which will proceed through the design of a fictional institution, concepts such as “the cultural roots of the body, the aesthetics of movement, design thinking, and interdisciplinary relations” will be discussed in practice.
In the wake of these inquiries, together with participants who will assume the role of experts designing an institution, explorations will be carried out along the delicate line between the fictional world of drama and the ethical responsibility of real life.
In this workshop, it is aimed that participants step into the world of an expert who embraces the responsibility and knowledge of the role, rather than merely “playing a role.”
“You are invited to assume responsibility and accompany the movement of knowledge.”
